I’m a designer with a successful track record in a variety of businesses and industries. My process includes full understanding of both user and business needs. I make a habit to use empathy and curiosity — major ingredients for creating products and experiences that make sense and boost success. I'm based in The Netherlands.
Background
I’ve worked in startups and huge international companies, being the lone designer or as part of multidisciplinary design teams. I’ve experience managing small design teams, running design and development sprints when a scrum master was needed and I’ve stepped up when a product manager was needed in more than one occasion.
My experience is quite diverse: I've helped create an online bank from scratch, been part of a team building a loyalty app for one of the UK’s biggest and most renowned family of brands, simplified the ordering process for personalised dog food, and been part of the team that launched apps and platforms for GPS tracked sports activity at one of the world’s biggest navigation companies.
My design decisions are informed by data and user research. A healthy balance between user and business needs is of utmost importance to me. I'm by nature a curious person, and my varied interests and geeky side come quite handy when immersing myself in user research, understanding the business and analysing data.
I’m not shy to try new things: I'm deepening my knowledge of Accessibility and Equitable Design as well as continue to learn more about Data Analysis.
